selling

a

product

in

the

State

of

Iowa

that

consists

of

a

motion

sensor,

controller,

and

battery

("the

Basic

Product").

The

Basic

Product

is

designed

to

send

either

an

SMS

message

or

place

up

to

eight

phone

calls

when

the

sensor

is

triggered,

using

a

wireless

module

built

into

the

Basic

Product.

3.

While

not

sold

as

part

of

the

Basic

Product,

motion

or

door

sensors,

additional

motion

sensors,

and

remote

key

fobs,

together

with

a

pairing

card

to

pair

these

additional

elements

with

the

controller,

will

be

available

for

sale

as

an

accessories

("Accessory").

(The

Basic

Product

and

Accessory

will

hereinafter

jointly

be

referred

to

as

"the

Product").

4.

The

Basic

Product

is

equipped

with

an

audible

sound

intended

only

for

the

convenience

of

the

Purchaser's

interaction

with

the

controller

but

will

not

emit

a

sound

intended

to

scare

an

intruder

or

notify

persons

occupying

the

premises

when

a

motion

detector

or

magnetic

door

is

activated.

Instead,

the

sole

function

of

the

Basic

Product

is

to

send

a

SMS

message

or

phone

call

to

those

telephone

numbers

programmed

into

the

Product

by

the

Purchaser

when

a

motion

detector

or

magnetic

door

is

activated.

No

oral

message

will

be

transmitted.

If

the

Product

is

programmed

to

make

a

phone

call,

the

person

answering

the

call

will

hear

only

a

buzzing

noise

followed

immediately

by

termination

of

the

call.

5.

The

Basic

Product

cannot

be

programmed

to

text

or

call

911.

The

Basic

Product

is

not

intended

to

transmit

a

message

or

any

other

signal

to

a

central

station

that

supervises

and

monitors

such

calls

and

messages

on

an

on

-going

basis

or

to

emergency

response

agencies.

The

instructions

included

with

the

Product,

as

well

as

the

user

guide,

will

instruct

Purchasers

that

they

must

not

program

such

numbers

into

the

Product.

6.

The

Purchaser

will

purchase

the

Product

from

a

retail

establishment.

The

Purchasers

themselves

will

install,

activate,

and

program

the

Basic

Product

and

install

and

connect

the

Accessory.

The

Purchaser

will

determine

where

to

place

the

Product

and

what

Accessories

to

purchase.
